 Why do babies cry during birth ?



We used to describe a newborn baby as cute, chubby, gentle, and cuddly. In recent times, we use the term 'cutie pie'. Like these names, a baby can bring charm and delight to a room with its smile, melt a heart with its laugh, and provide a new perspective on life. We often think and talk about the cute smile and laugh of babies, but have you ever thought about why a baby cries during its birth?

Scientifically, it is said that a baby's first cry indicates that the lungs are working properly. Doctors may gently slap the baby's butt and turn it upside down if the baby fails to cry immediately after birth. 


In addition to the scientific reasons, I have an absurd or weird thought about it. I believe that the reason behind a baby's first cry is that they do not want to enter into this materialistic world, which is full of sins, sufferings, pain etc. The baby may view this world as a jail and plead with God not to enter it. That is why a baby cries after birth. However, as soon as the baby enters the world, Maya covers it in the form of care, love, and relationships that the baby's family and relatives show. The baby quickly forgets and calms down, smiling.

MEET THE LEADER

  Today, on behalf of our respected Professor Dr. Samuel Rufus, my classmates and I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Johnny Tom Varghese, an IAS officer, through the event titled "MEET THE LEADER." He delivered a vibrant and engaging speech on "How I Was Shaped as a Leader." In this blog, I would like to share some glimpses of his speech from the event.  I personally admired the way he engaged with the students by referencing some of the places in MCC that will always remain memorable for each one of us. He described MCC as a buffet due to its uniqueness and diversity.  He then shared his life experiences at MCC. As an MCCian, he initially walked into MCC with a plan, but later he realized that this was not what he wanted. He learned the art of thriving amidst chaos and gradually started from scratch.           Memorable day   H ello, friends! I am thrilled to share with you all  my wonderful experience today. Yes, I have published my poetry book. This is my first book, which feels like my own newborn baby. I would like to thank each and every one of you who motivated, helped, and inspired me to write and publish it. My friends Dhanushkumar, Nikita, Varsha, Belinda, Ranjitha, Abraham, and I had an electrifying discussion with our inspiring Professor, Dr. Samuel Rufus.
