Is education useful for our jobs?

Education is the act or process of acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgement, and generally preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life. The function of education is to think better and critically, helping develop a perspective and opinions towards life. It can help gain respect from others and sharpen our minds. Education helps to change society. Overall, it is said that education can have a positive effect on employability. It can give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to succeed in the workplace. However, the education we receive from schools may not actually be useful for our jobs. By simply memorizing or studying portions and writing our exams, we graduate. There are no practical sessions for each and every idea in our education systems. Abroad, instead of theoretical classes, they have practical classes. This may be a reason for the standard and quality of education abroad. Do the mathematics we study in schools really apply to our jobs? Of course, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are important for our daily lives. The alphabets, numbers, and fundamentals we learn in kindergarten are important as well. However, other than that, it may be argued that we are simply wasting our time and money. I believe that our educational system should be changed. Instead of theoretical classes, there should be practical classes that would be highly beneficial for our jobs and provide better knowledge in every field.
