Bombay Chutney Recipe



Well, I know you all will be eagerly waiting for the recipe of Bombay Chutney. Now, I am going to share with you the required ingredients and preparation of this dish in this blog.

Ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil

- 1 cinnamon stick

- 1 clove

- 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds

- A handful of curry leaves

- 2 onions

- 2 tomatoes

- 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste

- 3 tablespoons of homemade chilli powder

- 5 tablespoons of gram flour

- Water (as needed)

- Salt, to taste

- Fresh coriander leaves

Preparation:

1. In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and add mustard seeds. Once the seeds start popping, add the cinnamon stick, clove, and a few curry leaves. Then, add chopped onions and saute until golden brown.

2. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell disappears. Then, add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and well-cooked.

3. Season with salt and add the homemade chilli powder. Mix well and then add the gram flour dissolved in water. Adjust the consistency by adding more water, if needed.

4. Check the seasoning and adjust the salt if necessary. Mix well and cover with a lid. Allow the curry to boil for 5 minutes on high heat.

5. Once boiled, garnish with fresh coriander leaves to enhance the flavor of the Bombay Chutney.
