 Love


Love is a strong feeling that you have when you like somebody or something very much. It is also an emotion that we all yearn for. Right from the day we are born, we crave love. Love and care are essential for both human beings and animals. I believe that love is present everywhere in some form or another. No matter how rude or tough a person may appear on the outside, there must be a certain amount of love within them.

Amongst other relationships, the mother-child relationship is said to be the strongest due to unconditional love. As we grow up, we make friends, meet teachers, relatives, neighbors, and many other people. Do you know what attracts us to a person? It is love. A person with a kind and loving nature is loved by all. Someone who is kind and lovable will easily attract others.

There is ordinary love and divine love. I remember during one of my classes, Professor David Abraham Albert shared with us the difference between ordinary love and divine love. He explained that ordinary love is selfish and rooted in desires and satisfaction, while divine love is selfless, boundless, unconditional, and unchanging. It is pure love.

Love is the essence of life and the most important feeling around which life revolves. Andy Rosie once said, "A soul without love is like a pond without water." A place where people love each other is peaceful and beautiful. Therefore, spread love wherever you go as much as possible.

What if a flower speaks? One day, I came across a flower that spoke. I was mesmerized and wished to pluck it and take it along with me. As I was about to pluck it, the flower asked me, Are you going to crush me and take away my fragrance?  Are you going to use me in garlands for a wedding?  Are you going to use me for any medicinal purpose?  Are you going to sprinkle me at a funeral procession and stamp me into the ground? In response to the flower's questions, I asked what it wished to be. The flower replied, "I just want to be at the feet of the Lord who created me."
